This sunken courtyard was created as part of the renovations associated with the new Center for Drama and Film at Vassar College. Sitting alongside the Marcel Breuer designed Ferry House residence hall, it forms a green living room for the students. Provisions were also incorporated for outdoor movie projection as well as small theatrical productions. Copper clad sitting walls envelop the space which will develop a natural patina over the years.
